Weymouth Beach in Autumn Picture

A picture of Weymouth Beach in Autumn
This Weymouth beach picture shows the sandy part of Weymouth beach with the curving Weymouth bay and the cliffs and hills of the surrounding Jurassic coast including Ringstead Bay and Lulworth. The picture was taken out of season when most of the Weymouth beach attractions have been removed for winter, a pleasant walk along Weymouth beach will still be enjoyed by many however. Far to the left of the picture, you would find the pebble beach Weymouth side, this end of the beach is popular for Weymouth beach fishing and swimmers where the water becomes deeper quicker.

Does Weymouth have a sandy beach? This Weymouth picture gives a very clear answer... Weymouth beach is made up of gently sloping, golden sands edging towards the calm, shallow waters of Weymouth Bay. This sandy part of the beach is where most of the Weymouth beach attractions are, including the Weymouth Punch and Judy show, the Weymouth beach Donkey rides and numerous other Weymouth attractions such as the swingboats, helter skelter and trampolines to name a few. With this many attractions as well as sand perfect for sand castle building, its no surprise that a trip to Weymouth beach is synonymous with ones imagination of a trip back to a typical English seaside resort in its heyday. To the right of the picture is the small Weymouth beach dogs friendly section and behind the picture back on the promenade is Alexandra Gardens which offers some typical Weymouth fairground rides and a large Weymouth Amusement arcade, further back still are the Weymouth beach hotels and bed and breakfasts and behind these are the many highstreet and novelty shops of Weymouth town.
