Weymouth Attractions on the Beach
This section of the beach is where many of the Weymouth attractions that are on the beach can be found. Some of the beach attractions to be found here in the summer include the swingboats, helter-skelter, the Weymouth beach donkeys and many more of the childrens attractions that make Weymouth a great beach for kids. Also on this part of the beach is the Weymouth beach dog friendly section (just look for the signs).
If you were to turn to the left of the picture, you would find the pleasure pier that forms one side of the historic and picturesque Weymouth old harbour - definately one of the best natural attractions in Weymouth - from here you can take a number of fabulous Weymouth boat trips. From the pier you can see some great views out towards the cliffs along the Jurassic coast, over to the Osmington White Horse, back across the beach and out towards the Nothe Fort. A walk along the beach takes you past the old pier bandstand, Greenhill gardens and eventually to Bowleaze cove. All of the above are just a few of the many Weymouth attractions that you will want to visit during your holiday here.
